In what has been described by the Metropolitan Police themselves as truly shocking, one of their own has been arrested on suspicion on murdering a 33-yr-old woman.
It’s understood that on Wednesday night, police discovered what they believe to be that of human remains of a female body.
Police in the UK have arrested an officer in connection with the disappearance of Sarah Everard.
According to Sky News, the Officer aged in his 40s was initially arrested on suspicion of kidnap on Tuesday.
It is understood the man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and faces another charge of indecent exposure.
The arrest comes after Ms Everard 33, went missing after missing a friends house on the Leathwaite Road, Clapham last Wednesday at approximately 9pm.
She was last seen on a doorbell camera on A205 Poynders Road from the junction at Cavendish Road, toward Tulse Hill, which lies south of Brixton, at approximately 9.30pm.
