
Things are beginning to get quite concerning across the country as yet another five coronavirus cases have been confirmed this evening in the Republic of Ireland and one more case confirmed in Northern Ireland.
The island of Ireland now has a total of 22 confirmed cases of coronavirus with the Republic having 18 and Northern Ireland having 4.
The five new cases in the Republic are confirmed to be a male in the east of the country connected with travel from northern Italy, a female from the west of the country who said to be related to a confirmed case, a female healthcare worker in Cork who was in contact with a confirmed case; a male from the south of the country with a travel history which is being investigated; and a female from the south of the country associated with travel from northern Italy too.
