The Department for Health has confirmed that 12 people have died from coronavirus today and 1024 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.`
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 203,461 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 3,764 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at more than 172.
