The Department for Health has confirmed that 4 people have died from coronavirus today and 420 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 243,015 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 4,825 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at 8.
Today’s numbers are the lowest since mid December.
