Gardaí are investigating the death of a woman in Co Galway after her body was discovered this morning near an emergency residential premises.
The woman, who was in her 30s, was found dead close to the premises near the Galway Road in Clifden following a call to gardaí.
A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently receiving medical treatment.
Gardaí have confirmed they are pursuing a definite line of inquiry and are not seeking any other individuals in relation to the death.
