Gardai say that they have “fresh concerns” about the public congregating in places such as beaches, parks and other public areas.
They say that they’re going to be out and monitor all areas where people will be eating, drinking and enjoying themselves.
Met Eireann say that there’s going to be a mini heatwave this weekend with tomorrow, Sunday, looking like it’s going to hit 26c with beautiful sunshine.
This weekend will be the first for outdoor hospitality so it remains to be seen what happens across the country.
