The Department for Health has confirmed that 18 people have died from coronavirus today and 761 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 236,601 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 4,705 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at more than 63.
