ISIS bride Lisa Smith will be back in her native Dundalk before Christmas after the government bent over backwards to get her released to come home from Syria and now Turkey.
Smith ran off to join her ISIS husband in Syria, leaving behind a State paying job.
Now she has decided it’s time to come back to Ireland with her 2-yr-old daughter and it appears that Varadkar and his government are fully behind her.
A spokesman for the Turkish Foreign Ministry has been quoted by the Reuters and AFP news agencies this evening saying that two Irish people are to be deported along with more than 20 other Europeans in the coming days.
According to RTE, they were referring to Smith and her daughter.
It now means that Smith and her daughter will be back on Irish soil within weeks.
