A man in his thirties has been charged as part of the investigation into the death of 81-year-old Noreen Daly, whose body was discovered at her home in County Waterford on Monday.
He is expected to appear before Carrick-on-Suir District Court later this morning.
Ms Daly’s body was found at her house in the rural area of Ardsallagh, near Youghal Bridge.
She had been living alone since her husband’s death in 2023 and was remembered as a kind person, a good neighbour, and someone who was very involved in the arts.
