BREAKING: Three people arrested over protest outside the home of Simon Harris




Three people have been arrested as part of an investigation into demonstrations at the Taoiseach’s house.

Two men aged in their 40s and another man aged in his 30s were arrested this morning and can be questioned for up to 24 hours by gardai.

One of the men is being questioned about last Friday’s incident where a number of masked men arrived at the Taoiseach’s home.

Gardaí from Wicklow and Wexford supported by the armed Special Detective Unit, which investigates security threats to the State, and arrested the men early this morning,

Gardaí have confirmed that the three men were arrested for alleged offences contrary to Non-Fatal Offences against the Person Act as part of ongoing investigations into the alleged harassment of an elected official, reports RTE.

Harris has said that the homes of politicians should be off limits.
