The alarm was raised this morning at 8:15am after an Irishwoman fell overboard on a ferry traveling from Pembroke to Rosslare.
A major search from both Irish and British coastguards took place immediately, but sadly within the last twenty minutes they have recovered what is believed to be the lady’s body.
A statement from Dyfed Powys police said: “A body has been located in the Lawrenny area, Pembrokeshire, during the search for a missing female. The body has not been formally identified at this time.”
