British Army claims expressing ‘Patriotism’ could be a sign of far-right extremism

Describing oneself as a “patriot” and being sceptical about multi-culturalism is now viewed in the UK military as indicators that one holds extreme right-wing views.

The British army’s “Extreme Right Wing (XRW) Indicators & Warnings” leaflet has gone viral and it lists such as things as describing yourself as a “patriot”, involving colleagues in closed social media groups, or using terms such as “Islamofascism” as key indicators that a person is extremely right-wing.

The leaflet was written in 2017 for senior staff in the British military to “educate Chains of Command on the indicators and warnings of personnel who may harbour extremist views”.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Defence confirmed the UK Mail Online that the document was real and issued a statement reading

“The values of our armed forces and the nation they serve are totally incompatible with extremist views. We have robust measures in place to ensure those exhibiting these views are not permitted to serve.”

The British army, which is currently experiencing a sever personnel shortage, has gone into the political correctness overdrive in recent years and has been accused of seek social justice warriors rather than actual warriors.

Earlier in 2019 the UK military launched a recruit drive seeking “millennials” and “snowflakes” and last year launched an entire campaign aimed solely at recruiting homosexuals and Muslims.
