David Cameron has announced that he will step down as Prime Minister of the UK ‘by October’, after the country’s end of EU membership.
Mr. Cameron addressed the media earlier today, saying that he does not feel he is the right person to lead the UK anymore.
There is also mounting speculation about the position of the British Chancellor George Osborne, who was a strong advocate for the ‘Remain’ side and campaigned alongside David Cameron.
The defeat of the ‘Remain’ side signifies a wake-up call for Europe in general, and the UK in particular.
