Minister Noonan and Minister Howlin have declared tax cuts for people earning €70,000 and tax increases for people on €15,000.
With the inclusion of all taxes, people earning €70,000 will be €746 better off from the 1st of January 2015.
Meanwhile, people earning as little as €15,000 will be €124 worse off next year than they are now.
Both now have to take into consideration the immoral water tax, which although social welfare recipients are entitled to €100 benefit towards the charges, all will be circa €400 worse off next year because of the contentious water charges.
Protest groups however have consistently said they’ll continue to fight the charges until they’re eradicated.
