There’s been uproar in the UK after it emerged that taxpayers’ hard-earned cash was used to renovate an already plush pad for Meghan and Harry.

There have been calls for an official inquiry into how they managed to use the funds to do up their house on the back of the average Englishman who has to work hard for a living instead of being waited on hand and foot around the clock and the popular Royal couple.

Royal accounts reveal that the couple are busy renovating their house with €2.7 million of the taxpayers’ hard earned cash. It’s understood that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’ country residence, which is near Windsor Castle, underwent major work to turn five properties back into a single home for the couple and their son Archie.

All state of the art mod cons, including new dining and entertainment areas – presumably for famous guests, luxury bathrooms and a luxury kitchen and extension to bedrooms.

Accounts for the Sovereign Grant, which funds the Queen and her household’s official expenses, shows that a total €75 million during 2018-19 – an increase of almost €25 million on the previous financial year.
