As Irish Anti-Lockdown and Pro-democracy groups rebel over the longest lockdowns in the whole of Europe, another group has joined the fight to end the lockdowns.

According to their website, The Roundtower Association has created an online petition calling for their Bishops across all Dioceses of Ireland to follow in the footsteps of Saint Patrick who “despite great opposition from the political powers of the time, he established the foundations for the social kingship of Christ on this island and honoured God in public worship that Easter vigil night on the hill of Slane”.

The organisers of the Roundtower Association petition have gathered 1403 signatures already and have a target of 2,500. They will be sending an open letter to all Bishops on or before 14th March in time for Saint Patrick’s Day.
