The current cold spell will last for at least another week, according to Met Eireann, with temperatures sinking to -4C at times and the possibility of snow.

Temperatures will remain unseasonably low for the time of year, staying in single digits during the day, and dropping below zero at times during the night.

The national forecaster is also warning of the possibility of snow this coming Saturday, with sharp frost expected to form at night. And Sunday won’t fare much better, as there’s a likelihood of rain, hail, sleet, and snow showers.
