A 17-year-old teenager with no underlying health problems has died in the UK after testing positive for Covid. They were among the 279 people, aged 17 to 102, who died from the virus in the past 24 hours in England alone. Only 11 of the patients, including the adolescent, had no underlying health problems. All the deaths occurred between December 3 and March 1st.
It’s understood that the teenager was perfectly healthy but that their condition rapidly deteriorated and they sadly passed away after testing positive for Covid.
Health experts are claiming that this case shows the extremity of what could happen if you get a severe bout of covid.
