Caretaker Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has dismissed the idea that pubs will add €1 to the price of a pint when they reopen.
The comments come as pubs face a grim future indeed, since they might not be able to reopen until a vaccine is found, something which might or might not happen in the distant future.
Such future has been deemed as a ‘nightmare scenario’ by representatives of the pub trade.
