Coronavirus continues rapid global spread as Italian stocks plummet and 50 recorded deaths from disease in Miran




Covid19 infections have soared globally with Iran’s semi-official ILNA news agency reporting on Monday that 50 people had died of the disease the city of Qom while the Italian stock market has plummeted as panic buying hits the country as infection rate jumps.

Iranian travellers with the virus have also been confirmed in Canada, Lebanon, and the United Arab Emirates.

Two cases in Israel were also reported from passengers who returned to the country from the Diamond Princess cruise ship while Oman, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and Bahrain also reported cases of the coronavirus.

Covid19, or the Coronavirus as it’s also known, is also spreading rapidly in South Korea and the country which is known to have the longest work hours in the world a cultural work ethic that is second to none has advised people to “work from home” in a desperate bid to stop the spread.

In Italy Events public events and football matches were cancelled in the country, while some of its movie theatres were reportedly shuttered, including Milan’s legendary La Scala, the city which is at the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak in the country.

The country in which the virus has originated, China, continues to see the virus spread with the country’s National Health Commission recording 2,592 deaths and 77,150 confirmed cases as of Monday.
