
Virgin Australia, the country’s second-largest airline, has entered voluntary administration amidst deepening financial woes at the Virgin Group.
The airline has been experiencing financial difficulties for quite some time, racking up debts of up to £2.54bn.
It is understood that Australian authorities recently rejected a request for a $1.4bn in light of the airline’s financial situation.
