Covid-19: Hospitality sector calls for the introduction of a new Bank Holiday in July

The hospitality sector is calling for the introduction of a new Bank Holiday in July.

Bars, pubs, and restaurants are likely to remain shut until May-June due to the dire Covid-19 situation in Ireland.

According to hoteliers and other hospitality sector representatives, an extra Bank Holiday would mean a ‘boost’ to the tourism industry.
