The Health Service Executive (HSE) has revealed that 18 fully vaccinated people are currently in hospital with severe Covid-induced illness.
As of 8pm on Wednesday, there were 86 people in hospital with coronavirus illness, with 22 of those in intensive care.
Once again, the efficacy of the Covid-19 vaccines is coming into question.
