Covid-19: Up to 600 jobs to be lost at Gatwick Airport in the wake of severe downturn due to coronavirus pandemic

Gatwick Airport’s management company has confirmed that 600 jobs are to go at the facility.

The job losses represent almost 25% of the entire staff at the airport.

The company has blamed the pandemic and the resulting drop in air travel as the main reasons for the job cuts.
