A spokesperson for the Licensed Vintners Association (LVA) has said that no fewer than 2,450 jobs have already been lost in Dublin pubs and bars, and that more losses are likely.
Donal O’Keeffe, speaking on behalf of the LVA, said that 10 pubs have closed for good already.
Mr. O’Keeffe added that more jobs will be lost if pubs cannot reopen in August.
