Data claims teachers are at no greater risk of Covid-19 than general public

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has confirmed to The Times that schoolteachers are at no greater rick of contracting Covid-19 than the general population in the country.

This comes as all school children return to in person learning this week while some teachers’ unions threaten industrial action as they demand that all children be masked and vaccinated to allowed access their basic human right of education.

Public sympathy and support for teachers, who have enjoyed full pay since the beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown despite Ireland seeing the more school and workdays lost due to the Draconian measures compared to most other countries, has collapsed as parents react with anger to the new threats of strike.

Other parents have taken to social media to accuse teachers of child abuse for demanding mask wearing while others still have said that there demand for all children to be vaccinated before returning to school is a breach of Nuremberg protocols, formulated following the horrors of the Holocaust.
