A Democratic representative has ended the prayer opening the US 117th Congress with the words “Amen and Awomen”.
The cringe worthy pandering to progressivism and feminists ignores that the fact that word Amen, originates in Hebrew, meaning “So be it” and has no connection to gender but the shallow virtue signal was roundly welcomed by other Democratic Congressmen and women as well as corporate media.
The nonsensicalness of the virtue signal was pointed out by a number of Republican Congressmen with one House Representative, Matt Gaetz asking on social media when sharing the story of the prayer “What about the other 42 genders?”
