Denmark is today pledging a new support package for Ukraine, worth £860m. This contrasts starkly with a miserable Ireland actually slashing welfare rates for Ukrainian refugees to just under 40 quid.
Denmark, a far superior nation in every respect, has already provided Ukraine with £2.4bn in support. Ireland, on the other hand, has simply lured tens of thousands of people as a virtue-signaling exercise in front of its European superiors. Most of these refugees couldn’t even be housed properly, and many are likely to end up homeless.
The new support package is expected to be approved at the Danish Parliament before the end of the week.
