The Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn has thanked the public for their phenomenal efforts in trying to surpress the Covid-19 virus.
Speaking at the National Public Health Emergency Team briefing, Dr Glynn said that people are doing the right things and these things are working.
Glynn who said that he is well aware that times are difficult, also said that his message wasn’t lip service and it is phenomenal to see the level of compliance since beginning of the year.
He added we continue to be enthused that the public are willing to stick through this.
