24 people have been left injured after there was a panicked stampede out of a Church in Munich after a man roared “Allahu Akbar” and set of a firecracker.
The shocking incident happened in St. Paul’s Church in Munich during Croatian Mass (Easter blessing) with a bottle of alcohol in hand. The panicked worshipers believed a terrorist attack was taking place and rush to leave the church.
Several of those injured in the chaotic panic were children.
The man was later arrested by police.
The incident comes a day after hundreds of people were killed in attacks on Christian churches and on hotels in Sri Lanka.
