The wife of Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan, Emer Holohan has sadly passed away.
It is understood that Emer sadly passed away today at Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross in Dublin.
The news of Dr Holohan’s passing comes after the Chief Medical Officer took some time off from his role last July to help take care of his wife who was receiving treatment for an illness.
