Dublin is safe? Man (50s) recovering after being badly beaten in Dublin




A man in his 50s has suffered serious injuries following an assault in Fairview Park, Dublin 3, on Wednesday, October 22nd.

The incident took place close to Annesley Bridge shortly after 6pm, with gardaí and emergency services quickly attending the scene, reports Breaking News.

The injured man was initially taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital, where his condition remains serious.

Specialist officers from the Divisional Scenes of Crime Unit carried out a detailed technical examination at the location, reports Breaking News.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the assault to come forward.

They are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who was in the vicinity between 5.30pm and 6.30pm and may have captured video footage, including dash cam recordings, reports Breaking News.
