A 75-year-old pensioner sadly lost his life after being struck by a car.
The incident happened on the Greendale Road in Kilbarrack, North Dublin, at around 7pm last Monday.
The man, named locally as Anthony Burke, died at Beaumont Hospital yesterday.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
