Election 2020: Speculation is rife that a snap general election could happen




There’s going to be a general election in 2020 at some point but speculation is rife that it could be sooner than most think.

No one knows for sure when the date for the next General Election will be, but by the looks of things that could all change very soon.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar met with Fianna Fail leader Micheal Martin to discuss a possible date for the upcoming general election.

Micheal Martin recently predicted that he’d be Taoiseach ‘within five years’, so who knows what the meeting will entail or what voter-pact they’ll agree to.
