Scientists now believe that up to 1 billion animals have been killed in the Australian bushfires

Around 25,000 koalas have been killed on Kangaroo island alone – that’s around half the amount of koalas on the island.

Scientists now say that up to 1 billion animals have been killed across Australia since the fires started some two months ago.

Authorities are saying that the entire country has been changed forever between animals, lands, infrastructure and the psyche of the population.

Temperatures are set to soar in the next week with winds forcing fires to spread fast. They need rain and they need prayers to get through one of the worst times in Australia’s history.
