Elon Musk is on track to be the first trillionaire by 2027, according to report

It is projected that Elon Musk will become the first trillionaire globally by 2027, per a recent global wealth assessment, reports Sky.

Based on Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, Musk, 53, is now the richest person in the world with a net worth of $251 billion (£191 billion).

Nonetheless, the results of Informa Connect Academy show that his fortune has been increasing at a pace of 110% annually on average, reports Sky.

Assuming that his fortune keeps increasing at the same pace, the results indicate that he may become a trillionaire in the next three years.

According to the 2024 Trillion Dollar Club estimate, Musk’s electric vehicle company, Tesla, is valued at $669.3 billion (£509.7 billion) on the market.

According to Informa Connect Academy, it is growing at an incredibly fast pace of 173.3% annually, which implies that by the next year, the company alone may surpass $1 trillion (£0.76 trillion), reports Sky.

Not unexpectedly, Apple ($3.3tn or £2.5tn) and Microsoft ($3.4tn or £2.6tn) were the two richest businesses as determined by the growth report.

The two tech behemoths each crossed the $1 trillion threshold in 2019 and 2018.

According to Informa Connect Academy, Gautam Adani, the founder of an Indian corporate conglomerate, is the second most likely person to become a trillionaire, reports Sky.

It is estimated that he will hit the milestone by 2028 at a 123% yearly growth rate.

Based on their present trajectories, it is also expected that Jensen Huang, the CEO of the computer company Nvidia, and Prajogo Pangestu, the mining and energy tycoon from Indonesia, would become trillionaires by 2028, reports Sky.
