Someone will have a final few days in January to remember this week after one lucky punter managed to pocket the tidy sum of €250,000 in Wednesday’s Lotto Plus 2 draw.
Although there were no winners of the main jackpot worth €2.7m, someone will surely be more than content after they managed to match all seven numbers in the National Lottery’s third main draw.
The winning Lotto Plus 2 numbers were 7, 11, 20, 24, 40, 43 and the bonus was 46.
It is not yet known where the winning ticket was purchased, but National Lottery chiefs have confirmed it was bought in the southeast of the country
