The first snowfalls of the season will likely hit the UK as early as this week, but no snow for Ireland just yet, according to forecasters.
A ‘polar blast’ is likely to cause some snow to fall across some parts of the UK by Wednesday, while our weather is set to remain rather cold and wet for the next few days.
Daytime temperatures will remain in single figures across Ireland, with the thermometer sinking close to freezing at night.
