Gardai in Co Donegal have arrested five people after a Garda car was rammed this afternoon.
According to RTE News, the arrests come after the car failed to stop for Gardai.
It is understood that the driver of the car failed to stop for detectives before ramming the car at approximately 3:30pm this afternoon.
Gardai say the car fled the scene in the Tullyearl Roundabout on the main Donegal to Ballyshannon Road.
It is believed that car then travelled the wrong way around the roundabout before crashing.
Gardai say two men and two women were arrested at the scene, however the driver fled the scene on foot.
However he was later found hiding in a nearby shed and was subsequently arrested.
All five who are from Northern Ireland are currently being detained at Letterkenny Garda Station.
