The recent launch of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Note 7 device soon became tarnished by worldwide reports of exploding batteries, forcing the company to halt sales and shipments of the product.
A subsequent investigation revealed that faulty battery cells from one of its two suppliers were at the root of the issue.
Samsung has now engaged in a Product Exchange Programme for those who may already have purchased a Note 7.
Customers will soon be contacted by their provider to arrange a device exchange. Such undertaking will begin on September 19th.
