The weather has taken a turn for the worse this afternoon, and Met Eireann has issued a warning affecting Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Kerry.
Wind speeds of up to 100km/h are expected, with heavy rain in places also.
The warning will remain in effect until 6pm on Friday, Sept. 9.
