Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation after a man robbed a petrol station in Donnybrook.
It is understood the investigation comes after the man who threatened staff with a syringe, robbed a sum of cash from the Maxol station on the Mepsil Road in Donnybrook.
Although no one was injured in the incident which occurred at approximately 1:30pm on Monday afternoon, Gardai say staff were left badly shaken following the incident.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
