An investigation is underway after a Garda officer allegedly stole a small sum of money from a wallet that was handed in.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, the investigation comes after the man believed to be a probationer was arrested in connection with the incident.
The incident which is alleged to have occurred at a Dublin Garda Station, is being investigated by the Assistant Commissioner, Special Crime Operations, John O’Driscoll.
