Gardaí have issued an appeal to the public for information after a family was allegedly subjected to racial abuse whilst travelling on a train.
The appeal comes after the family were subjected to abuse from a man who boarded the train last Sunday evening.
Gardaí say the family were travelling on the Belfast to Dublin train at 7pm when the alleged incident occurred.
Officers investigating the case say they are appealing for anyone who may have any information or footage to come forward and contact them at Dundalk Garda Station on 042 938 8400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
