Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed that a man aged in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the assault of man last week.
It is understood the arrest comes after a man in his 40s was left with life-threatening injuries following the attack which occurred on Prices Lane, last Friday April 26th.
Gardai say the man was arrested this morning and he is currently being detained at Pearse Street Garda Station.
