Gardai have arrested one person following an aggravated burglary in Co. Donegal.
The incident happened at a house in the Glenard Park area of Letterkenny on Monday, February 27.
It is understood that a male entered a property armed with a hammer and assaulted a man and a woman.
The perpetrator was arrested a short time later.
