The Irish police force has made public images of squad cars decorating in rainbow colours for their participation in the Dublin Pride parade due to take place later this month.
Many social media users have commented on various aspects of the announcement, between taxpayers giving out their money is used to decorate the squad cars and others asking why other frontline staff will not be participating.
The gardai posted:
“We are really looking forward to participating in Dublin Pride Parade on Saturday 29th June 2019, and we’ve had a bit of a makeover for the occasion!”
