Gardaà in Dublin have confirmed that they have launched a criminal investigation after a man was found dead at his home on Monday.
According to RTÉ News, Gardai say they have launched a criminal investigation after the man aged in his 40s was found dead at a house in Bluebell Avenue at approximately 11:30am.
It is believed that the man sustained serious injuries to his head and neck.
Gardai say they are not releasing the results of a post-mortem examination for operational purposes, but have revealed that a criminal investigation has begun.
They are also appealing for anyone who may have been in the area to come forward and contact them.
