Gardai have launched an investigation following a shooting incident in Cork.
The shooting, which Gardai believe is linked to an ongoing local feud, happened at a halting site in Ballyvolane, on the city’s north side, on Saturday night. It is understood that there had been a prior incident that evening where two men wielding axes set upon a vehicle.
No one was injured in either incident.
