Garda units intercepted a vehicle driving through the Tallaght area of Dublin last night.
After carrying out a search, the huge haul of drugs was discovered, along with an AK 47 assault rifle and ammunition, two .22 rifles and ammunition, and a loaded pump action shotgun along with silencers and telescope sights.
The drugs would have an estimated street value of €3m.
Two men, aged 41 and 34, were arrested at the scene.
